Join us on Saturday, July 19 at 11:00 AM for a fun “Food for Thought” program, where we will shine our spotlight on Baking Yesteryear: The Best Recipes From the 1900s to the 1980s by author B. Dylan Hollis.
In this clever, witty cookbook, Dylan Hollis highlights the most unique, tasty treats of yesteryear. We will take a look back at decades gone by and the recipes and stories they left behind for us to enjoy.
Patrons who wish to attend are encouraged to check out Dylan's cookbook from the library, Libby or Hoopla. You may also elect to look at a copy of the cookbook in house and copy a couple of recipes (for free) you might like to try.
We encourage you to try a recipe or two at home before the meeting and let everyone know how it went. You are welcome to bring one of the prepared recipes with you to share, but this is not a requirement.
We will have a few of the recipes already prepared for you as well as a quick cooking demo.
This program is free and open to those ages 18 and above.
Bon appetit!
