Summer Reading Program: Page Turner Adventures

Bossard Library is excited to announce that we are partnering with Page Turner Adventures to offer our patrons a FREE summer experience. Each week will feature a different theme and each day offers a new experience -- from comedy theater shows, cooking, recipes, crafts, children's book author interviews, contests, games, virtual science museum visits, special guest performers, and much more.

"Imagine Your Story" Summer Reading Program Registration starts Wednesday, June 10

Kids, Tweens, and Teens stop by the Library starting Wednesday, June 10 to sign-up for this year's Summer Reading Program.

Adult Winter Reading Program to End June 15

Participants in Bossard Library's Adult Winter Reading Program will have until 6:00 PM on Monday, June 15 to stop by the Library to receive their prize for having read 5 books and their tickets for the drawing of the prize baskets.

Library open to the public

Hours of operation are currently Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours for at-risk populations are designated as 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday through Saturday.

Bossard Memorial Library is now offering curbside service to its patrons.

Library Programs Cancelled

Out of an abundance of caution, the following Library programs scheduled for the week of March 16 are cancelled: Morning and Evening Yoga, Lapsit, Writers' Guild, All Tween and Teen Programs.

Santa's Reindeer at the City Park

Please join Bossard Library in welcoming Santa's reindeer to Gallipolis on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Two reindeer from Pine Acres Reindeer Farm will be at the Gallipolis City Park from 5:30 PM to approximately 8:00 PM during the Gallipolis in Lights Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Those visiting the reindeer will receive a free candy cane (while supplies last) .

Bossard Library will be CLOSED Thursday, November 28, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

We will resume our regular hours of 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024.

In-B-Tween Club

Kids (ages 7-9) join us at the Gallipolis Municipal Building (333 Third Avenue) on Tuesday, November 26 at 6:00 PM for In-B-Tween Club.

Story Walk at the French Art Colony

The Library's new StoryWalk title is now on display at the French Art Colony.

Our title for November is Turk and Runt: A Thanksgiving Comedy written by Lisa Wheeler and illustrated by Frank Ansley.
