‘Color Me Happy’ Adult Coloring Ages 18 and over Stop by the library to enjoy an adults-only coloring session. Coloring sheets and coloring gel pens/pencils are provided or you can bring your own. Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxing coloring session and genial conversation. “Color Me Happy” is only for adults ages 18 and over. No children are permitted. Weekly Programs (Please note: Due to the “Animal Inside Out” exhibit, which will open Sept. 28 at the library, some programs will be held at offsite locations until January. Storytime Ages 3-6 On Tuesdays, Sept. 17 and 24, storytime will be held at the Gallipolis First Church of God, 1723 State Route 141, Gallipolis. On Monday, Sept. 30, storytime will be held at the Gallia Academy High School library, 2855 Centenary Road, Gallipolis. Yoga Ages 16 and over Beginning on Monday, Sept. 16, Yoga will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 541 Second Avenue, Gallipolis. Waiver form required. Pat-a-Cake Lapsit Ages birth-3 Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 19, lapsit will be held each Thursday morning at the Gallipolis First Church of God, 1723 State Route 141. Needlework Circle Ages 12 and over Needlework Circle will continue to be held each Wednesday at the library. Anyone age 12 and over with an interest in any of the fiber arts is welcome and encouraged to attend. Ages 18 and over The Adult Book Club will meet at the library’s booth at the Rio Renaissance Faire for their September meeting. The featured book for September is The Falcon Always Wings Twice by Donna Andrews. Copies of the book can be borrowed from the library. The audiobook can be borrowed from the hoopla app, while the audiobook or eBook can be found on the Ohio Digital Library. Bossard Library’s Adult Book Club typically meets on the last Saturday of each month. Adult Book Club French City Writers’ Guild Ages 18 and over Both budding and experienced writers are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting of the French City Writers’ Guild. Writers are encouraged to discuss their original works of various genres, including non-fiction, poetry, genre fiction, and drama. Guild meetings are only for individuals age 18 and over. Light refreshments will be provided.
