Youth Services Upcoming Programs Adult Programming Upcoming Programs Trivia Night Ages 13 and over Stop by the library for Bossard Trivia Night and compete as an individual or play with your friends to test your knowledge of current events, history, pop culture, and more! Trivia night is held monthly at the library and is open to teens, adults, and families with children who are age 13 and over. Each team is limited to 10 people. Trivia questions are presented in a multiround competition and teams submit answers on paper. The competition begins promptly at 6 p.m. The winning individual or team will receive a nominal prize and bragging rights! Light refreshments will be served. Evening Storytime Ages 3-6 Bossard Library will host Evening Storytime on Thursdays, May 7 and May 21 at the library. On May 7, attendees will enjoy a reading of Lola Plants a Garden by Anna McQuinn, illustrated by Rosalind Beardshaw. On Thursday, May 21, Evening Storytime will feature a reading of Otto the Book Bear by Katie Cleminson. Evening Storytime is for children, ages 3-6, and their parents or caregivers. Each program features a story, rhymes, songs, and other fun and engaging activities. For more information, please contact Kim at kwilcoxon@bossardlibrary.org Tween Book Club Ages 8-12 The Tween Book Club will meet in May to discuss Knights vs. Dinosaurs written and illustrated by Matt Phelan during its “Dino-Mite” party. The tweens will enjoy creating a shield craft, among other activities. Snacks will also be provided. Copies of the book are available to borrow from the library. The digital audiobook and eBook are available instantly through the hoopla app. The eBook can also be found on the Libby app. The Tween Book Club meets every other month at the library and is for any interested reader, ages 8-12. In-B-Tween Club Ages 7-9 The In-B-Tween Club will meet on May 19 and May 26 at the library. During their first meeting, the In-B -Tweens will be treated to a reading of Summer Is Here by Renée Watson, illustrated by Bea Jackson. Attendees will enjoy making ice cream in a bag, an ice-cream painting craft, and games. The May 27 In-B-Tween Club meeting will feature a reading of It’s Taco Knight! by Megan Maynor, illustrated by Estrela Lourenço. Attendees will enjoy a taco in a bag and will complete a taco craft. Each In-B-Tween event features games, crafts, and a book all centered around an exciting and interactive theme.
